Where We Are

Our address is 11566 Colony Row, Broomfield, CO 80021 — inside the Arista community, just off US-36. If you live in Arista, we are your neighborhood salon. If you work along Interlocken Loop or the Eldorado Boulevard corridor — the office parks that run from Arista up toward Flatiron Crossing — we are a few minutes from your desk — with free parking at the door, so a lunchtime appointment doesn’t start with a hunt for a space.

If you are not sure what to book first, a haircut is the simplest way to meet a stylist and see how we work. Men’s haircuts and grooming have their own page. For color, there are separate pages on all over color and root touch ups, balayage, and highlights and foils, and every service is listed with its price on our prices page. Whichever you book, we talk through the plan before we start, then we get to work.

If Colorado itself is new to you, two things tend to come up in the first few months: hair that behaves differently than it did where you moved from, and a scalp that has gone dry. We have written about both, in Why do my curls look different in Colorado? and Why is my scalp so dry in Colorado?

Built for a Working Day

If you’re coming from a desk, a haircut is competing with a calendar.

Online booking is open at any hour, so you can pick your slot at 11pm on a Sunday instead of trying to call between meetings. Our hours run Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM — a mid-morning slot, a lunchtime appointment, or the end of the afternoon on the way home, and Saturdays for the weeks when none of that works.

A cut that only looks right the day you leave the chair isn’t doing its job.

The other half is the work itself. We cut for how a shape behaves three and six weeks out, not just on the day — the client who has to rebook early is the one whose time we wasted. Miles, Nicole, Dylan and Amanda cut men’s hair here; there is more on that on our men’s haircuts and grooming page. Color is handled the same way: we will tell you honestly at the consultation what will hold up between visits and what won’t.

What We Do Here

A short version of the menu, with full pricing on our services and pricing page. Ranges reflect your stylist’s experience level.

  • Men’s Cut — $58–$69.
  • Cuts by length — short, medium and long, priced by length rather than by gender — $68–$85, depending on length.
  • Gloss & Shine — demi-permanent color applied for shine — $55–$85.
  • Grey Blending — a low-light application that softens grey as it grows in — $195–$275.
  • Root Touch Up — a basic touch up to pre-existing color — $100–$145.
  • Color Correction — book online, then call so we can plan ahead — $300–$325.

We color with Davines and style with Aveda, and carry both for home. Colorado sits higher and drier than almost anywhere else in the country, and indoor heating through the winter is the harsher half of that story — so expect a straight answer about product rather than a shelf of it.

Who You’ll See

Every stylist here gives a genuinely different experience, which is why we called it a Collective. Full profiles are on our stylists page.

  • Miles Higgins — Co-Owner, Managing Partner, and our named precision-cutting specialist. Trained through Vidal Sassoon and TONI&GUY; half of his haircuts are men’s cuts.
  • Nicole Higgins — Co-Owner and Creative Director, 2016 NAHA Men’s Hairstylist of the Year.
  • Jadyn Jester — Senior Stylist & Manager. Custom color, balayage, highlights, all-over color, color correction, vivid fashion color.
  • Dylan — Stylist and Master Barber, the only barbering license on the team. Barbering, precision cutting, short cuts and pixie cuts, vivid and natural lived-in color.
  • Ally — Stylist and Paul Mitchell graduate. Custom color, long haircuts, extensions.
  • Amanda — Stylist. Color corrections, vivid colors, balayage, men’s cuts, hand-tied and tape-in extensions, keratin smoothing.

Miles, Nicole, Dylan and Amanda cut men’s hair here, so you have real choice among them when you book.
