In Jadyn's words
Hi, I'm Jadyn Jester! I've been a stylist at the salon for the past six years and have had the privilege of serving as a manager for nearly two years. Over the years, I've grown from a brand-new stylist who was still finding her confidence into the stylist and person I am today, and I'm so grateful that many of my clients have been there to grow alongside me.
My specialty is hair color, and honestly, I love anything and everything involving color! From balayage and highlights to fantasy colors and color corrections, I love the creativity that comes with creating something unique for each person who sits in my chair. What I love most about coloring hair is getting to work together with my clients to create a look that makes them feel confident, beautiful, and genuinely happy.
One of my favorite experiences in my career so far was getting the opportunity to help do hair for an artist performing at Red Rocks. While hairstyling isn't my specialty, it was such a once-in-a-lifetime experience and a really fun reminder of just how many incredible opportunities this career can bring.
But for me, being a stylist has always been about so much more than hair. One of the greatest parts of my job is the relationships I've built with my clients. I love getting to know the people who sit in my chair and being their biggest cheerleader, someone to vent to, a shoulder to cry on, a third-party perspective, and sometimes even their unofficial therapist. Most of all, I love being their friend. I truly believe that while my talent and passion for hair may be what brings someone into my chair, my heart is what builds the relationships that keep them there.
Outside of the salon, I love spending time with my friends and family. I'm also a self-proclaimed foodie and love discovering new restaurants, trying new food and drinks, and experiencing the atmosphere and ambiance of new places.
My biggest adventure right now is preparing to become a mom. I'm currently expecting a baby girl with my husband, Joe, and our sweet dachshund, Dolly. My biggest goal in life right now is to be an amazing mom while also being a hardworking woman who can show her children the importance of finding something you're passionate about. I feel incredibly lucky to have a career that I genuinely love, one that, some days, doesn't even feel like work, and I hope to be a role model for my children in every way.
I would describe myself as compassionate, easygoing, and someone who genuinely cares about the people around me. I'm incredibly thankful for the talent and creativity that have allowed me to build a career I love, but even more thankful for the people who have trusted me with their hair, their stories, and a little piece of their lives over the past six years. I can't wait to continue growing, creating, and building relationships with everyone who finds their way into my chair.
